Gemma Gené’s hyperrealistic paintings focus on wrapped objects, foil balloons and oversized every day objects with reflective surfaces. Gené previously obtained an architecture degree at La Salle University in Barcelona, Spain followed by her Masters in advanced architectural design at Columbia University. She now resides in New York working as a full time artist. She is an award-winning painter and published illustrator. As a hyper realist painter, she is influenced by architectural language and the study of volume and geometry. Gemma Gené’s work has been exhibited in New York, Palm Beach, Barcelona,
Madrid, and Mallorca.
