Ana Monsó
Spanish, b. 1998
Ana Monsó is a painter from Barcelona, born in 1998. She studied art and design in Cambridge and was selected for a degree in Fashion Design by the University in London. She has always been connected to art and design as her father is an architect and her mother is also an artist. She is highly influenced by art history, as she reinterprets artworks from artists like Klimt and Goya that have always portrayed women’s bodies, from a feminist point of view. Her works show feminine bodies, mostly never finished, painted with free brushstrokes and colorful palettes.
